OPENING DAY RECAP

A rainy Wednesday night put the kibosh on turf racing for Opening Day as NYRA wisely opted to do its best to keep the horses and jockeys safe from uneven soft track conditions. The four races pulled from the turf poked a pretty big hole in the card as more than 25 horses were scratched. Fred used it to his advantage in betting Pick 3’s in the first three races by hitting the all button for the three horse field in the second. Combined with medium priced longshots in the first and third races resulted in a $198 Pick Three. Combined with the $265 exacta Fred picked cold in the third race, and we had a huge opening day. Let’s try to build from here!

May the horse be with you!
